Need help with very obscure movie.

Me and my wifey, Latoya, were talking old movies, and there was one old one I have been trying to remember the name of, as well as a video of it.
I had an old VHS my dad had, waaaaay back in the early 1980's, when we lived in Detroit, and had cable Tv. It was on HBO, and was one of those 'HBO Short Takes". Anyhow, it was a science fiction film, which was about this TINY alien ship that was flying in space and landed on earth, on some beach. The ship was VERY small, like the size of a little toy. The alien zapped a guy's radio, checked out his girlfriend's behind (even did a wolf whistle XD), and later got buried in sand by some young girl. Then the alien made contact with a young boy, who talked to the alien the the speak 'n spell he had. The boy took the alien ship home, when his folks told him it was time to leave the beach, and when sitting in the backseat, the boy looked as close to the ship as he could, and saw the alien inside, which kinda/sorta liked like Gwildor from the old He-Man movie.
Me and Latoya were trying to remember the name of the short movie and maybe a video of it, which I probably have not seen since 1989 or so, when I was about 9-ish.
Anyone gots the answer?
