Question about the Alliance fighter squadron

I've been trying to find an advanced or elite version of the alliance fighter sqaudron after seeing a youtuber showcase them, but I don't see any traces of them in either the dil store or the fleet store. Do i have to own the origanal (I believe its the Jarok carrier) before I can purchase them?
Our fleet is maxed out and I see most of the other options for hangar pets in the fleet store.

    Short answer: Yes.

    For all special hangar pets, you do usually need to own the ship on which they originate.
