The discussion on the 6/15 Ten Forward about having different time-of-day maps for different YEARS was kinda dumb, but made me realize how to fix things. Duh! It's so simple! Games are virtual environments anyway! Just have all three maps available and let us choose which to beam down to! Yes, put three download buttons on the panel in space over the planet:
Beam down to night resort.
Beam down to day resort.
Beam down to dusk resort.
Hey, it's a planet full of resorts. If the one on the day side resembles the one on the night side and the one along the twilight line, so what?
