Posting for a Friend who plays on console.
"Please! Give us console players a zoom feature, or a camera mode, or even one or two closer camera views of our ships. We want to take nice shots of our ships too. I appreciate the work you put into the ship models. I don't fly a defiant for the simple fact I can barely see it. Unless I do a warp out glitch... so please give us something to fix this. Thank you.
For ships on the smaller size, getting a close up is only possible by literally glitching out the camera by warping in a shuttle of any kind, taking the closest zoom option, then warping back in a starship. It doesn't always work and it's the only way to get a good beauty shot. For a ship the size of the defiant, or smaller vessels you can barely even see it. Even with the glitch.
I feel this is a small quality of life improvement and we'd be forever grateful for it. We pay the same for our ships on console , so please help us to enjoy them as much as players on pc.
