I've got 2 questions that I would like to ask and see if it could be answered this is for console on ground combat the first one is how come when in combat we target friendly players an friendly NPCs and there's no option to shut it off so we do not Target friendly allies there's no need to Target them whatsoever this messes up your combat firing extremely bad and the other question is on combat visuals of Kit modules you cannot see anyting when activating about 90% of your kit modules the visual effects from them alone completely block out your visuals of combat and again this is on Console and there's no way to tone those visuals down or shut them off how come we don't have options for that so we can actually see what were firing on when in ground combat and for the grammar and punctuation police that like to troll other individuals please don't this is a serious question I would like to see about getting resolved to better this game

I don't understand this are you saying there's a way to shut these visual-effects offer telling them down and go to the academy because I just spent the last bit of an hour looking and I don't see anything anywhere at the Academy to tone those visual-effects down that's the problem that I think is happening right now is we're not getting all of the settings that are available on PC for and example if we change our outfits adding a piece of gear in each slot and changing the colors takes the better part of an hour and a half because it's so laggy to interact with but I'm going to check again and see if there's another place that I miss look down at the Academy I don't really think there is but I'll check again
OP, sometimes you DO want to be able to target your teammates, especially if you are playing a support toon, buffs and heals come to mind. I don't play console, but hopefully someone who has played both can chime in on if the VFX is the same across platforms? there are ongoing requests for toning down VFX in space combat. I have not experienced overwhelming on PC ground. Finally, and please take this as constructive criticism.. Punctuation is your friend.

on ground combat ... how come when in combat we target friendly players an friendly NPCs and there's no option to shut it off so we do not Target friendly allies there's no need to Target them whatsoever this messes up your combat firing extremely bad
Ground on console is set to shooter mode. Although I'm on PC as far as I know whatever you're pointed at is the target when playing in this mode. It's also what I've seen in videos of console game play.
and the other question is on combat visuals of Kit modules you cannot see anyting when activating about 90% of your kit modules the visual effects from them alone completely block out your visuals of combat and again this is on Console and there's no way to tone those visuals down or shut them off how come we don't have options for that so we can actually see what were firing on when in ground combat
There isn't really any way to tone down visual effects. It's a feature often seen asked for in general discussion.
the problem that I think is happening right now is we're not getting all of the settings that are available on PC
Pretty sure this isn't the case for visual effects. For targeting you might want to play with your settings to see what works best for you.
Okay first one there is a problem when playing Ground combat that you when aiming you target friendly allies instead of targeting enemies that's one of the problems
The other problem is when using kits modules on ground combat their visual effects on a lot of them look like a really bad laser show blocking all your visuals of seeing any other thing so with that in mind can you shut those visuals off or tone them down making them them to where they're almost invisible and you're allowed to see everything else other than just strictly kit module visual effects so please is there a way to fix this to where I can tone down the visual effects of my kit modules or shut them off entirely so I don't see the visual effects like you allowed in previous games like Neverwinter I know cryptic doesn't own Neverwinter anymore but they have to know what I'm talkin about still and don't have to beat around the bush to make it look like it's something that can't be answered because they have no hint hint clue on what I'm talking about so please quit beating around the bush and for the grammar and punctuation police please save it for somebody else
