Strange Blue Cubes Dropping on Ground Maps (Video Added)

Some blue cube thingies have been dropping from ground enemies tonight. I've never seen these before, and I don't see anything in the in-game news about them. Does anyone know what they are, and what they do? I'm on PlayStation, if that makes a difference.

    I took a video (sorry for the quality, it's how the PlayStation records) of it happening. I don't know what these things are, and they don't really seem to do anything. They're just random cubes that explode into sparkles when I touch them. Does anyone know what they are, and why they're forming? I'd like to turn them off.

    Graphical glitch?

    I'm on Xbox and haven't seen any cubes of any variety.

    I can't remember the name of it, but I think it's a kit that looks like a helmet. I'll do some checking and update if I find it.

    Thank you to everyone for the input and ideas as to what they are. Looks like Parmeggido is correct. I tested his hypothesis, and when not wearing the Wen's Raider H.U.D. Kit Frame, the blue cubes go away. I'm a little upset, as I like the kit frame's effect on my character, but find the blue cubes unsightly, sticking out like a sore thumb. It'd be nice if they would just disappear and be applied as they're spawning, the way normal loot does, when we're nearby.

    You have Wen's Raider Helmet equipped as a Kit Frame. That's the proc from it. The Blue cubes are a rollover buff.

    You are killing them so hard they are folding into another dimension?
