Seeking weapon for sound effect

I'm looking for the weapom that has a raptro-like sort of sound. A hard screech. I would guess some sor of cannon. I would like to mount it on Klingon design Starshp unit that I acquired. Sort of like a heavy pew-screech sort of sort of sound. I think others have used it to shoot an orange or flame burst. Seems like a bow cannon.
