When was the last Tech upgrade weekend on PC and Console?

I play on both platforms. More on console than PC. I haven't seen a Tech upgrade weekend for quite a while. Are they still offering Tech upgrade weekend? Or is this a thing of the past.

I think it was just 8 weeks or so ago on pc, either shortly before or during the anniversary. Before that half a year, give or take. I think it's rather rare.

I'm sensing one shortly for console, as I believe anniversary is next week, not confirmed but the blog is hyping the newest TFO now.

PC one, was as people have said, a couple of months ago.

There's maybe two a year.

Speaking of console, keep an eye out for when the anniversary giveaways start. On PC I think they were announced on Twitter first as usual. Each giveaway except the T6 ship (if they do that) is only 24 hours so if you miss it then sadness will ensue.

I'd suspect we might see one around Easter, as they usually are every 3-4 months (often closer to the earlier) not the later timeline.

Perhaps they have started offering them a bit less than in the past, seems to have slowed a bit perhaps over the year before.

In 2020, and half of 2021 they often were every 3-4m or so. Hmm... ...I'd say it be time for another for sure!

Maybe they've slowed to once every 6 months, which would still make April or around Easter a good time. I guess they are hoping to encourage more to use Phoenix before the 2x event spawns. To see how patient people are? Still I know they've spoken of Delta Recruiting Event returning. If they did that just prior or around Easter that be good for me, and having a 2x event shortly after or around that month be wonderful.

Can only hope.

I really don't understand why players are accepting of this kind of reduction in events, and the benefits therein, made without any notification whatsoever. They don't notify whether this has been removed or whether it is happening less often, because they can't justify doing it.

To me this kind of attitude towards your customers stinks. They are far more likely to get more out of me with honey than with vinegar.
