Sally Kellerman/Dr. Elizabeth Dehner (2nd TOS Pilot, 'Where No Man Has Gone Before') passed away

Dr. Elizabeth Dehner was part of the crew to encounter the Galactic Barrier in 'Where No Man Has Gone Before', and helped Captain Kirk stop Gary Mitchel.

Sally Kellerman had also played Major Margret 'Hot Lips' Houlihan in the 1970 M*A*S*H movie, directed by Robert Altman, and starred along with Donald Sutherland (Captain Benjamin 'Hawkeye' Pierce), Elliot Gould (Captain John 'Trapper' McIntyre), Robert Duvall (Major Frank Burns), and Rene Auberjonois (Father John Mulcahy/Odo from DS9).

    I thought it ironic that she passed and then the Discovery Episode 'The Galactic Barrier' premiered.

    Apparently of heart failure and dementia in a nursing home. Probably for the best that she isn't suffering anymore
