Thank You STO for 12 years of fun ...

To the STO crew,

I've been playing this game since I was a beta tester and purchased a Lifetime subscription. I have always enjoyed the game for the most part, sometime a few of the bugs would drive me a little crazy but it was fun none the less. I just wanted to say thank you for all the fun that I have had over the last dozen years. I also wanted to say thank you for the upgrades to my lifetime subscription, this LTS has been the best bargain I have ever gotten. Last but not least a big thank you for the free T-6 gift that you gave out for the 12th anniversary and I'm looking forward to the next 12 years if I live that long ...

I think the best thing about playing this game for the last 12 years is the friends that I have made and the people that I have played with in all the different mission. Once again a big THANK YOU to the people who put this game together and who keep it running every day ...

Thanks Again,
Psytce

    Hear Hear! Love the positivity.

"Maybe the real endgame was the friends we made along the way"

Actually it's Space Barbie, but anyway...thanks Cryptic! It's been almost 10 years for me, and I've had a lot of fun along the way too. I take breaks now and then but the game is waiting for me when I come back.

I agree Cheers to the OP! To STO and those who have stayed along for the full journey.

I also pre ordered and was in beta . I’m still hoping for some more pvp endgame love. King of the hill / capture the flag missions like GonCra but in a pvp battle zone. Wither it happens or not. I’ve enjoyed the game and the ride. Hope it continues to Live Long and Prosper !

It is an amazing acheivement. 12 years. We only moan at you because we love you! I started playing 6 years ago after I had my kidney removed due to a cancerous tumour, I had a lot of free time on my hands and STO really helped me during recovery.

Aye. Well said. I was more strict with the game years ago, especially around delta rising. But I've taken it very casually for the last 5 years. And say it's just really great that the game exists. Endeavors were a swell addition. As was the mega campaign. Even though I still haven't cashed in my chit :)

In pretty much the same boat as you - Beta Tester starting back in October 2009, got the LTS as soon as it was available - played ever since - and pretty much the same experiences (including new friends made that I still play the game with 10 years later - and it's the one MMO guild I've been in that hasn't been roiled in an big incidents of 'Drama' over the years too.)

I'm a Trek fan who's been watching first run since S3 (in 1969 at the tender age of 6); and as far as making STO a 'Trek Themepark' that touches on all eras and versions of Trek, while I don't agree with everything done and every decision made; it's still a fun playground for any Star trek fan to run around in - and while I'm not a VOY fan; I have to say, the VO and overall story of the latest mission content released (and kudos/congratulations on getting Kate Mulgrew into the game reprising various versions of Captain/Admiral./Marshal Janeway) was fun and very well done across the board. Not every actor is good at VO but both Kate Mulgrew and Mary Wiesman definitely are.
