Nandi on Prodigy?

Anyone else watch Star Trek Prodigy this week? (Season 1, Episode 7) We're introduced to a Ferengi named... Nandi. Like the T6 Ferengi Warship. Does this mean one of the scriptwriters plays (or is at least familiar with) STO? Or did both names get drawn from somewhere else?

    Maybe?, one of the writers in Discovery is an STO fan, and included a mention of a Caracal in it, so, why not??, it would be nice!

    Honestly? Just from looking at the Protostar it's kind of obvious that at least somebody on the Prodigy team is an STO fan. You can see some design lineage and inspiration from some of the STO ships. It has a kind of Vesta lineage vibe. We also know that the ship designer for Lower Decks is an STO fan. I believe he has said as much in an interview (Trekyards maybe?)

    Well, according to Memory Alpha, "NanDi" means "excellent" and is first found in the ENT episode "Aquisition"...
