....somewhere.
"Computer, formulate the time line from 2053 to the current age involving Guinan, Jean Luc-Picard, Spock, any variant of the U.S.S. Enterprise, Borg, Red Angel and U.S.S. Discovery.
Extrapolate questions as well, focusing primarily on Red Angel." the individual at the command stations says.
"Formulating parameters as specified." replies the computer.
Ten minutes or so passes when the screen begins to fill with with data.
"The requested parameters cross in and out of many events involving the queried subjects. Guinan is a placeholder along most of the timeline.
All of the findings have been taken directly from numerous data banks of Star Fleet and from the U.S.S. Discovery.
In 2053, the Red Angel time jumped to Earth and abducted people from Indianna and re-located those people to a new world.
First ,and foremost I believe the actions of the Red Angel violated Prime Directive of interfering with the natural history of world by using time travel. If I remember correctly, the people who were transplanted were in fact killed in a nuclear attack.
In 2063 Zephram Cochran made his first warp flight that attracted the Vulcans who were on a 'survey' mission in the sector.
We're the Vulcans actually on a survey mission or we're the Vulcans in the area looking for traces of the Red Angel from 10 years prior?
Did the Vulcan team that crashed on Earth and ultimately gave advanced technology technology to humans, velcro, also part of an advanced team that might have been tracking Guinan? Remember, Guinan had fled to Earth avoiding her father and would have been on Earth prior to 2053.
Guinan would have been on Earth before World War III, because who would flee to a nuclear war wasteland of a planet to avoid her father?
Guinan would have also have been present on Earth during the Zephram Cochran time line, both the original and altered timeline created by the Borg, which eventually replaces the original timeline, very slightly.
Guinan would have been present on Earth and would have been introduced to her first Enterprise, NCC-1701-B. Is it coincidence that Guinan eventually serves aboard the NCC-1701-D? Or is her service due to a secret group within Star Fleet looking for something or someone? Since the U.S.S. Enterprise has been the UFP's flagship in many settings, for Guinan to be aboard the NCC-1701-D, doesn't seem like coincidence to me.
Guinan would have witnessed World War III, the V'ger incident along with the Whale Probe incident as well. Guinan would have also have heard about Spocks death as most of the galaxy would have.
This is where the timeline twists on itself somewhat.
Now we forward to Discovery. We know that Gabrielle Burnham built the Red Angel, was attacked by Klingons, fled with the Red Angel leaving her family to be killed by the Klingons. Burnham survived and is sent to Vulcan where her emotions are systematically erased or tried to be erased by Vulcan teachings.
Was it Section 31 that sent M. Burnham to Vulcan to keep the knowledge she had about Red Angel in check from even Starfleet finding out about?
Could the Vulcans, who were on a 'survey' to Earth when they discovered the Phoenix warp signature, actually have been from the future, had gone into the past disguised as early Vulcans, but were actually trying to track down the Red Angel?
Guinans presence, before Zephrams historic warp flight means that she cannot be erased from the time line, at all, along any point in time, because like she said, Guinan made her own people, a lot of them, meaning that Guinans children would most likely have survived, even into the time of Discovery, which the Discovery jumped from a period in time from the original series, that Guinan would have been present as well, into the future.
At the moment that Discovery jumps into the future, Spock is fully aware of Control and the Red Angel. Spocks attitude during the five years aboard Enterprise under Pike and Kirk does seem to be somewhat, distant, more distant than most Vulcans at times.
Was his distancing due to listening for signs of Sector 31 tracking him as well as the possibility of lookin for a signal from the Red Angel suddenly showing up?
Was the five year mission of the NCC-1701, actually developed to find the Red Angel after it was sent unto a black hole and possibly failed to detonate and emerged elsewhere in the galaxy?
We also know that before Spock died, Spock transferred his entire katra into McCoy, including the events and knowledge surrounding the Red Angel and Discovery.
After the mind meld, Dr. McCoy does make uncanny comments about wanting to find Genesis at all costs and even used bribery to try an secure passage to Genesis.
Genesis or the beginning. A beginning that could relate to Burnham looking for a new beginning by jumping into the future.
"I'll make you rich beyond the dreams of Avarice"
"...beyond, the dreams."
Could this uncanny part of Dr. McCoys comment actually have need related to knowledge he acquired from the mind meld with Spock?
Beyond The Dream of Avarice...Beyond the Dream could be a reference that Spock used as a door and locking mechanism to the inner sanctum of his knowing about Michael and the Discovery jumping in the future or beyond the dream. Could be a subconscious reference to the Red Angel and Michael Burnham's greed or Avarice in her plight.
McCoy also goes onto say that he wanted Spocks katra, gone because it scrambled his brain.
In the humpback whale incident involving time travel, McCoy asks "My God, where are we?" Another uncanny comment made by the Doctor. Could his comment have been a sudden flashback to battle with Section 31 that sees Spock flying ahead of Burnham in a shuttle? Could Irum have affected McCoys memory that allowed McCoy to see past the barriers of the mind meld?
When Spock does regain his katra, McCoy affectionately taps on the side of his head and smiles.
Now remember, Guinan is still in the timeline starting in 2053 and remains in the timeline.
After Burnham escapes into the future, Spock and Pike continue on their missions that would lead to Spock being the Chief Science Officer aboard the Enterprise. At this point, Spock still retains knowledge of the Red Angel and quite possibly, McCoy does in the future.
In 2365 Guinan is aboard the NCC-1701-D, Guinan is still aboard the D in 2368 during Reunification that sees who re-emerge? Spock who still has knowledge of the Red Angel.
If you look at all of the times Spock mind melded with people after having knowledge of Red Angel and Burnham jumping into the future, there are, possibilities that his mind melds left residual patterns of the Red Angel and Burnham in the person's mind or the AI's circuitry.
Spock also mind melded with Picard which could have left residual memories in Picards mind as well. Memories that would have been accessed by, the Borg.
Back to Guinan.
We see Guinan in 2371 in the Nexus incident where she helps Picard realize the Nexus isn't real. Even Guinans residual memory in the Nexus is able to determine that Picard was, out of place. Guinan also sense something was wrong during the Yesterday's Enterprise.
Guinan was present during Spocks attempt at reunifying Romulus and Vulcan, which finally comes to pass in Discovery.
If you track Guinan in time you can see her at very pivotal events along the time line or present in the timeline when Spock is.
Was Picards Irumodic Syndrome a result of the mind meld with Spock? After all McCoy did encounter the time altering alien Irum in 2278 who altered time to avoid the crash. Once again, McCoy being directly involved with time altering aliens that would lead to Spock mind melding with McCoy.
Did Spock mind meld with McCoy hoping that the influences from Irum would tangle up any residual memories of Burnham that might seep into McCoy's mind during the meld so that Spock might live on, but more importantly, the knowledge Spock had of the U.S.S. Discovery and Red Angel? Someone that Spock could trust but someone who would discount the 'dreams' of Red Angel and the Discovery.
In 2371, three years after the mind meld with Spock, Dr. Crusher sends Picards medical data to who? Dr. McCoy who named the disease after Irum, an alien entity capable of altering time.
Irumodic Syndrome is a disease that effects the brain making the patient suffer from erratic behavior, Burnhams actions were very erratic to say the least. Irumordic Syndrome also causes delusions, which Burnham did in fact have several times. Irumodic Syndrome also causes loss of memory.
Most importantly though is the very close friendship between Guinan' and Picard very Picard would often times ask Guinan for help involving matters of the mind.
Did Picard ever discuss his dreams of the Red Angel and Burnham that brought Guinan and Picard even closer as Guinana would have possibly have put a real person to the black woman in Picard's dreams that Picard was trying to figure out why he was dreaming about her or having sudden flashback backs of Burnham?
Did Picard realize that he might have been having a residual time incursion where his subconscious was being replaced by residual memories of Spock where Picard seen Guinan as Burnham as a result of the Irumodic Syndrome?"
"I know some information peddlers that will pay very handsomely for this data, mainly the Klingons."
Pulling the data disc from its slot the robed figure is approached by another crew member.
"Admiral, the Klingons are detecting off the bow. Their chancellor wants to know if you have found anything new."
Turning to the Klingon warship on the main screen, the Admiral smiles.
"Tell the Klingon ship, Just in time. The Chancellor can beam aboard immediately."
