Dear Devs: QOL Request: Please Fix Transfer of Items & Resources

Hi guys,
At present, there's a slider which allows the transfer of a split stack or transfer of resources such as Dilithium.
The most annoying part about this is that the slider doesn't allow you to select an even number.
So as image shows as an example, I can't transfer 3k Dilithium.
Example image
It will only allow me to transfer 3008 Dilithium.
A minor inconvenience? Maybe, in some situations a massive inconvenience.
Shouldn't be too difficult to fix this right Devs?
Another example would be say a stack of 10,000 R&D resources.
Splitting this and transferring it to fleet bank or anywhere else, doesn't allow you to select a specific number of items.
