Problems with The Power Source

Is anyone else having this problem with the penultimate New Romulus mission, The Power Source? Since the update with the new slot that switches us automatically to wearing EV suits, the lava in the underground ruins is overwhelmingly bright and I cannot actually see anything. It's not a graphics card issue because everything else works perfectly, and I tried adjusting the brightness but that didn't do anything. If others are having the same problem, then I'll report the bug. For now, though, I'm stuck and can't advance my quest any further.

I thought it was just me. anything to do with that sort of lighting... I turned of Lighting 2.0 for any time I get that

No it's several missions in the lower Romulan caves from Power Source, to others:

You can turn OFF Bloom under Graphics Preferences to make it less blinding, or turn OFF dynamic lighting, or Lighting 2.0 to OFF as well.

Apparently they are aware of it, yet still don't really know when a FIX is coming. Core problem is the lava is unusually brighter than it should be.
