Environmental Suit Slot...What about EV suit sets?

Its a great Idea. We appreciate it. BUT...some ev suits are sets, so why not allow extra slots for the shield and the weapon that goes with the ev suit?

And I still want dual type 2 federation phasers. Those would kick TRIBBLE!

    Okay. Then how about an extra shield slot. Sorry. Would 3 weapons be so bad.

    And any way the new slots should be ev suit specific. Only active when ev suite is in use.

    The problem with that idea is that there's EV suits with really good armor stats. Some of which were sold for lobi, etc, and have been used as people's main armor for literally years.

    So now you want to force those people to get something new because EV suits can ONLY be used as EV suits, and you want to lock out the EV slot in non-EV areas?

    You can activate the EV suit manually in a non-EV environment (there's a toggle on the paper-doll UI.) The issue is when you do so, the suit graphic overrides your characters uniform graphic.)

    I'm surprised (these were in TAS) that with this change they didn't add a "Life Support Belt" (it was a cheap way for TAS animators to use the exact same character models in a EVA environment with just a colored outline around them indicating a 'life support field' in operation. You just equp the Life Support Belt in the EV suit slot and your done.

    This would allow players who want it the option to just use their current armor and character look in ANY environment and still be faithful to 'Star Trek canon' (if that's any sort of issue). ;)
