Request for a Captain Proton-Themed series of episodes.
Was just wondering if we could bring back Tom Paris, Harry Kim, and the Doctor for a Captain Proton based story arc involving the subspace photonic life forms. It would be great opportunity to play for items such as Captain Proton's outfit - the mask, the leathers, and the jet pack as well as his ray gun and his ship. Would also love to see the episodes rendered in black and white for that nineteen thirties, Flash Gordon type atmosphere.

"They've thought a lot about putting in Captain Proton things like his ship and weapons into the game for April Fools and stuff like that. He thinks the team doesn't want to do holo deck things like Captain Proton or Dixon Hill unless they can do it right and let you play those adventures, which would require basically a new Agents of Yesterday level expansion in terms of creating new enviromental art and things of that nature and that is the main thing that's keeping them from doing it. It is something they want to do, and for a long time they had said they wouldn't add the Tommy gun until they did a holo deck expansion and it's in there now, so it's possible other holo deck content may be added.
This was back in 2019, around the time they started to move away from Expansions that dropped everything at once and more overtime.
Plus, honesty, how much draw would a Captain Proton series get? Not much for Cryptic to draw on, especially when they have several other dangling threads (Leeta etc) as well as threads they can pull from the new TV series.
