Finished this year's campaign an wisely obtained campaign prize box for opening on the toon I wanted the Premmie ship on. As expected, the Premium Ship Choice Box is BtC. I cannot remember if this was stated in blogs or social posts but the official site does not state BtC for Campaign Event prize chosen. Just remember to decide which toon you want to use it on even if you are getting a Premmie ship since the choice box will be bound to the character opening the campaign reward box. Good Grinding.
I believe back when it started Kael had said that the choice box would be character bound, but that once chosen the ship box would be account bound until you open it.
Hi, I haven't participate in campaigns I & II but I finished Campaign III. The reward info tab states that the ship you'll choose will be bound to account. There's no mention that once you open it it becomes bound to character. Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't claim it for my other character. Anyone else had the same problem? Am I mistaken? Is it written anywhere that your choice will be bound to character?
Thank you for your replies. I hadn't read the details on the link you sent me. Yes it states exactly that, when you open the box the item is bound to character. However in the reward info tab (in-game, the "j" key, events tab, which is actually what I had read concerning the event), it states with double asterisk "Contents of this pack will be bound to account upon opening". So, does that mean that when you open the box, the item will be bound to account or I got it wrong?
Well, OK, but if you choose the "Special Requisition Pack - 23rd Century tier 6 ship" is that going to be BtC or BtA? Because what you get when you open that will depend on your faction.
On a somewhat related note, did you know there are no less than seven different T6 Connies? They are all listed on the right side of the page linked above.
That's different from the "real" infinity promo T6 box temporal box. I opened one of those recently on a Fed character and was given a choice of the Connie, D7, T'Liss
So: claim on the character you want to use it to be safe, and don't expect to be able to choice other-faction ships in the 3-faction combo choices.

That post was testing on Tribble, and there seems to be issues with the cross-faction unlock on there properly registering. I was able to pick cross-faction choices on Tribble with my account that has that working properly (all I did was log into a lvl 65 KDf on Tribble, but did it fairly early after it became available), and have been playing with a Valkis Temporal Heavy Dreadnought Warbird on a Fed char from the Event pack.
I don't have the link to hand, but someone was wanting the reverse, a T'Liss on Fed, and they couldn't get it working on Tribble, but bit the bullet and tried it on Holodeck and it worked.
Well I hope you can select any ship, and move it after the initial box. I made the mistake of opening the initial box on my romulan. I think the Lobi would be the smarter choice, but I am pretty sure I am going to end up getting an Atlas. I would rather fly it on a Fed character.

While this initial prize package is Bound to Character, the chosen starship requisition pack will be Bound to Account.
My Federation captain can fly the Temporal D7, but if she opens that box she is going to get the -

Am I doing something wrong or does it all come at the end?
