Norman Lloyd, aka Professor Galen from the episode "The Chase", had passed away at 106 years old.
He's worked with Charlie Chaplin, Orson Welles, Alfred Hitchcock and many others over the years.
Professor Galen was behind Picard's love of archaeology, the clay figurine that's shown in his office is from "The Chase" episode.
