Veteran player seeks new home

I've been playing since the game launched, and was a member of my last fleet for about eight years. Unfortunately, over the last two years the fleet has fallen apart, members stopped playing, and things grew silent. After some unfortunate drama, I decided I'd had enough, climbed into an escape pod, and hit the eject button.

I find this has left me at loose ends. While my fleet experience has largely been a pretty bad one, and soloing can get you through missions and leveling, the absence of a real Endgame (though I'm very good at Space Barbie) means that having a built-in group of associates to do things with definitely makes the game a lot more FUN. Or...you know...any kind of fun at all.

So I'm on the hunt for a new fleet. I'm a casual player, not particularly interested in chasing DPS...though my builds are usually at least decent at obliterating things relatively quickly, they're not the kind of instakill builds I've seen in TFOs. I enjoy casual RP, and I'm willing to lend a hand with missions, TFOs and any other in-game goals that fellow players are chasing. I'm willing to join a Discord, but I have no interest in voice chat (I like to watch TV and movies while playing).

I have a pile of Starfleet characters, most of whom are homebrew Aliens, and two KDF characters that're pretty well geared (including a shiny new Orion officer made for the current event). I'm usually on from 8-10pm EST, longer on weekends.

But I'll be honest, I'm a bit leery of fleets in general right now, so please don't just invite me out of the blue...let's talk a bit first, to see if I'm a good fit for your fleet and vice versa.

We’re pretty laid back, no one gets kicked for inactivity out unless we need room, and we have plenty right now.

Access Denied is a well established active, casual, friendly Tire 5 Fed fleet
Naw'Tem is the T5 KDF sister fleet of Access Denied.

Our Federation and KDF Armadas both have the highest level in STO. We became the highest ranking Federation Armada during the summer of 2019 and have been the highest ranking KDF Armada for 4 years now.
