After Event daily Dilithium Bonus broken

I know this was broken in the last event. After finishing the anniversary event and claiming the reward there should be a daily dilithium bonus of 8K and above.
I got the first one but the second day was broken for me. I waited for the cooldown and no 9K extra after the daily. I hope it is just me and sent a ticket to Cryptic.

So far it has been working for me. My timer should be up in about 8 hours, so I'll see if that holds.
If it is still broken, I hope they can keep track and do the same as last time, mailing out the "lost" amount.
Remember, when they introduced this 8k type they made a big deal that there was no upper limit (like you could ever get to those upper levels anyway with the current Event time frames). A few months ago they made a change to the 8k to put an upper limit on it (don't remember what that limit was). I suspect that the change they made was when they 'broke' the scaling for some or all people.
Other than not having the time to fix, I suspect that is why they kept the 2.5k scaling (25k max) one for the Winter Event.

Just to be sure, since I have seen this cause confusion a couple times...
When you say you waited for the cooldown, did you actually look at the timer in game and make sure it said available?
And when you say no 9k extra, did it say 9k and you got nothing? Did you get 8k instead?

I ask the timer question because since the first bonus is available immediately after you claim the event reward, it can end up throwing off what a player thinks was the "normal" timing of the daily availability. Now I always go in and look at that page before turning in any daily credit missions.
And either way, let us know how the next daily turns out. I'll be checking mine in a few hours.
With the bugged bonuses in the past, did it affect everyone, or were there some people who were fine? (Hard to tell since it would mostly be people with a problem posting about it on the forum.) If it was everyone before and turns out to be scattershot now, definitely keep track of the issue, screenshot if possible as you claim the reward (more for yourself than as any kind of "proof" since hopefully Cryptic can see the issue without a picture), and prepare to put in a ticket to find out if Support can help.
It worked perfectly on day 1 but for me on day second I only got the junk R&D box and 480 DIL. I missed the entire 9K (not just the 8Kplus1K). Weird bug. Yes, and I waited over 20hrs of cooldown...more like 24hrs. After I did the second day...no EXTRA bonus and timer reset for another 20 hrs. I checked everywhere and confirmed with a ticket and screenshots to support. Let's see what happens on day 3
You say you waited about 24 hours, but did you look at the actual timer to see if it said available before you chose the reward in the TFO? I have seen stranger things happen and it does sound like you got the normal TFO rewards as though the timer wasn't up yet.
If I'm doing the TFO anywhere close to when the timer should be up, I always check it to be sure. You have about 4 minutes at the end of a TFO before you are forced to choose a reward and the daily progress isn't awarded until you do, so there is a little bit of wiggle room if it is within a couple minutes of being available.

Good to know, but I still think it is better to check the event page with the timer. That way you know a) whether or not the daily is available for that day, b) how much time is left to wait if it is not ready yet, and c) how much dilithium you should expect to get if you have already claimed the ship.

Seems to be working so far.

1st day no issues and got 8k
2nd day -missed 9k
3rd day- got bonus normally
4th day - missed again and only got 480 and junk.
Check your dilithium bonus and don't assume you are getting it. Only different thing that I can see is that my main that got the ship keeps getting the right amount but my alts so far have no bonus. Could be just a coincidence but sent my tickets to cryptic. I guess I will stop the bonus run until this gets sorted out.
3rd day. when you say "normally", do you mean 10k?
Also, was it the same alt for days 2 and 4?
When there's other games worth playing its very easy to forget about STO, might check after thursday maintenance/patchday but not expecting to see any fix since it's been around long enough to be considered a feature.
Just to be sure.. you're aware that you only get the bonus once per day per account right? So if your main gets the bonus and you do the event again with your alt you will not get the daily bonus and that is by design.
Something did change, so I am very curious about the specifics of any problems this time around.
The last event it seemed most people had the issue where it would award 8k a day no matter what your actual bonus amount read.
This time it seems most people (who have commented here and on reddit, anyway) are getting the bonus amounts correctly and a couple are saying it is still broken. In at least one case I'm reading it as not giving ANY dilithium reward at all for the event, just the 480 for the TFO.
In your case, are you getting any at all? I assume you are checking the event page to be sure the timer is done before going for the daily? (Seems silly, but I have done it myself where I'll run the daily a little late one day and then a little early the next and the timer still has like 30 minutes to go.)
Are you doing it all on one character, or has it been this way on alts as well?
No problems yet for me. I've run it on KDF, FED, new recruit...don't think I have tried Romulan yet, so I'll do that tonight. Not that I WANT it to break for me, but I do want to try different combinations to see if any one of them triggers a problem. While I have issues with some of the bugs Cryptic seems to have swept under the rug over the years, I also understand that it can be hard to track them down. Especially when one is being as inconsistent as described here.
