Does anyone know for sure if distributed targeting causes torpedo damage to spread to nearby enemies, or just energy weapons?
Most of what I've seen written about it is in the context of energy weapons e.g. using it with beam overload as a fire at will alternative. The description says it spreads some "weapons" fire to nearby targets and doesn't specify the type. You can sometimes see the beams actually refracting onto nearby targets but don't think I've seen a torpedo do that.
I'm wondering about the merits of it in an EPG torpedo build too... if it spreads torpedo damage, would it also spread a little of the DOTs and other torpedo procs?
