    They usually don't announce stuff they nerf or break.
    C-Store Inc. is still looking for active members on the fed side. If you don't have a fleet feel free to contact me in game @stegi.

    we couldn't leave the game be for 5 minutes? Maybe this will be the last downtime until the new year?

    Shard Maintenance rarely includes patch notes.. if there is a patch, is probably back end stuff.. those things are never mentioned in a patch..

    It's Tuesday. This is regularly-scheduled weekly maintenance. No surprise here. And really? "maybe this is the last time it'll go down this year?"

    It's a thing for everyone online game. Why do people complain about it?

    Since there is no patch (it would have downloaded by signing into the launcher by now), I presume there are no patch notes

    I have seen no justification myself yet on the forums or the news page for todays maintenance.
    Only thing I can think of is they dont want us to play this morning :(.

    They have this thing where they know when I am going to have a weekday morning free, and schedule maintenance to coincide. Every single time. Because everything annoying that happens in the Universe is a carefully planned affront to me, and only me. -signed, The Internet.

    The maintenance just before Christmas is usually just back end stuff. Nothing gets patched just before Christmas as most of the devs have finished up work.

    Besides hamsters need some rest, it's main european playing timeframe and pandemic out there, so please extend winter event by a week. ;)

    I figured it was today because Thursday is Christmas Eve and they'd want to take a Christmas break, which I can't blame them.

    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Actually, our regularly scheduled weekly maintenance is usually not on Tuesday.

    You really think they're going to do a patch on Christmas eve (the 24th) in the U.S.? Yeah, no.

    You are correct, but given that it's a holiday week, that actually makes Tuesday the 'normal' day. The good news is, there should not be anymore downtime this week. :smile:

    they got me twice in a week. wednesday, then friday, then tuesday. I should have figured it would be today this week so that's my fault. but friday last was annoying.

    It could just be a coincidence, but since this last patch I have not had any of my usual zone-change-kick-to-log-in-screen kicks, nor character change kicks. First time I have played for several hours without that happening at least once, in several months. Hopefully they slipped in a fix for that too. If so, great!
