Maintenance : Schedule at 7am PST for a year+ . Today I wake up 3 hours earlier to play before maintenance, and Low & Behold it is now scheduled for 5am PST. Let's not mention they don't even honor that listed time either .
So what Things do you just Love about STO ?
Nothing is as enjoyable as continuously having to manually delete all the TRIBBLE you only picked up so that it could be deleted and credits be earned while making room for new stuff that ought to be deleted automatically.
That folk want the game made easier and easier.
That Ship HP is not representive of their size.
That there's too much visual spam.
That weapon arcs and loadouts aren't more 'canon'.
That there's no real-time systems damage and repair.
That there's 'future' ships in-game (considering about how many folk complain about 'canon').
That the game-breaking Seperation Pet recall bug (after being disabled) on Consoles has not yet been fixed after 3 years!
Otherwise, I really do still enjoy this game after nearly a decade playing.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Another thing is the lack of customisation. Sure, we can change skins, paintings on the hull and so on, but beyond that, options are limited.
Why can't I fly a Nebula class ship with 5 forward weapon slots? Or an Akira with pilot manoeuvres? We get many different options in terms of ships we can buy, but imagine really liking a single ship. Like the Nebula, but you want to use a torpedo build with all sorts of different energy torpedoes on it. Or you want to fly it like a pilot escort.
Just make sure each ship doesn't break the hard limits that all ships, overall have (like 6 forward weapon slots or something like that).

especially when most games have an auto sell below X quality
1. Strobe effects
2. Broken powers/console activation failure
3. Gameplay balance (Tac DPS or GTFO)
4. Lack of quality and quantity end-game content
5. Industrial landfill of useless items/powers
6. Visual spam no off-toggle options
7. Power-creep replacing hard-earned items
8. Coding bugs everywhere
9. Boring clicky grind mechanics
10. Lacking meaningful team play for a multiplayer game
11. Complete neglect of other factions unless Fed
..and so on...
13. Infinitely extended maintenance's.
14. Almost every time after maintenance something is broken including GAME BREAKING PROBLEMS !
Last time I was forced to buy out J'Ula set (no compensation of course, and support doesn't care), because i couldn't join TFO/Event, cuz "join" buttons, and shortcuts doesn't worked at all.
No, after yesterday maintenance, whenever i try to type words or numbers on keyboard, shortcuts automatically kicks in... so my character is spamming skills, go to shooter mode, open sub-windows like inventory and so on... even tried to discards items. So i can't write, or put prices on items.... Great job as always in last few months Cryptic.
15. Broken traits. Heart of Sol and its counterparts, should stack 3 times... they are not.
16. Overpowered promo and lock box ships... including their traits.
17. Lack of tactics... FAW, FAW, FAW its cure to any problems.
18. Obsolete Cannons... they can be used, but... its hell compared to FAW.
19. Obsolete, and forgotten bridges, not only graphics but entire interiors, and its placements.

The lack of a Community Manager with literacy skills that can't even copy and paste the correct information on the official forum... well after it has been posted just about everywhere else.
Most GOOD businesses actually place at least some value in feedback from those whom they want to spend money on their product(s), which is why many, many business ask you to complete 'surveymonkey' type feedback forms and offer a 'prize' incentives).
Devs elsewhere in other games actually reply, in their own patch notes, about average player concerns, actually fix bugs, and do attempt to expand the game.
Imagine where my tiny bit of cash, and most of my play time goes. NOT STAR TREK ONLINE.

Assuming he even bothers to post here AT ALL.
About once a week for butchered patch notes. At least that's about all I have noticed.
