Is the new T6 Titan Science Destroyer any good?

As the title says, is that new titan science destroyer worth getting? I'm going to be creating a new science character soon so I need a good t6 science ship and it needs to be from the C Store only, no lockbox, lobi, or exchange ships. I've heard the eternal science class ship is the best C Store science ship but the posts I'd read that from were before the Titan came along, so can anyone give some opinions on the Titan, and how it compares to the Eternal, and if there's any better science ships in the C Store than those two? I've also seen that the Titan only has 10 console slots compared to the 11 consoles that the Eternal has.

I should've mentioned that I would be wanting the science ship for exotic damage or maybe a torpedo ship, so disqualify beams and cannons. Also as a side note, why are these science ships so slow lol? By slow I mean impulse modifier not turning speed, the titan and the eternal both have a pitiful impulse modifier of 0.15, which is the same as dreadnoughts such as the khopesh and the sojourner operations star cruiser. I know escorts are supposed to be the fastest due to their small size but science ships aren't exactly that large and they should have better impulse speed than a freaking dreadnought, since dreadnoughts should be the slowest since they're so huge. Also they're science ships which would mean the most advanced technology on them, so more efficient engines. If it's like a science dreadnought or something like that then sure it's ok for them to be slow, but it is NOT ok for a regular sized science ship to be as slow as a dreadnought, it's like cryptic doesn't understand basic logic.

Impulse of .15 is just standard.

I'd imagine the Titan makes a very good torpedo ship if you can run it in tactical mode for that 4th forward slot most of the time, switching to science to activate your gravity well every 40s. I haven't played with it much though.

I'd say the Eternal looks pretty good as science ships go, but I don't have one.

The Verne is probably the best for an exotic build, but I don't think they are for sale in Mudds store right now, and is pretty expensive to grab even if you could.

The Titan turns on and off the Experimental Weapon slot, not any of the fore weapons. You're probably thinking the Dyson Science Destroyers, which turn on and off (with a neat animation for the KDF version at least) the Proton Cannons. There's an engine limitation that devs have talked about where the weapon that goes on and off for the toggle has to be well defined and different than the rest, which is why you can't change out the Proton Cannons on the DSDs, but can the special slot weapon on the Titan.

Yeah I presumed it worked like the Dysons. I have not played with it much at all yet.
