12k zen for a single ship, some fluff & stuff and a rather pointless boost to 65 given how fast you can max out a character in STO. Doesn't seem to cover reps which is where the bulk of the time is actually required, not surprising though since you can now buy your way through the reps.
Year of the ferengi is more appropriate given the push of the "honest guv its not a t7" level of ships for exorbitant prices in a year where a lot of people will have been more than likely counting their pennies having lost a job or been put on reduced hours.
My thoughts are that I don't care and that it's overpriced for what it is. However, I don't have a problem with it. Apparently, the Romulan pack was a success or they wouldn't bother making another one.
Lorca doesn't have Space Warfare Specialist trait. Not only are they bound to one character and can't be reclaimed they have none of the traits that made them valuable.

I figure, after the fact, that is why Cryptic didn't advertise the 6 Holo BOFFs' traits beforehand.
Players were going to recognize some of the "convention" BOFFs' traits had been reduced to mediocre.
Cryptic knew what they were doing with these 6 Holo BOFFs no doubt about it.

This pack looks even less appealing now.
Indeed. They also adjusted the price of the Targ from 400 Zen to 800 Zen when the sale is over. That and the invalid skill and downtime have killed any goodwill they had. I am staying away from it. I already have T6 lobi walker and it's superior to their account walker in everyway. They can keep their overpriced 12,000 Zen bundle with filler bound garbage.

I saw that store combat-peet pricing when I finally logged-in to STO today.
Has Cryptic gave any justification for the double the price of this combat-pet besides it is new & has prettier pixels?
I'm sure a few at Cryptic might've been thinking well it is a Targ so it is Klingon so we should price it higher lol.
The 3 or 4 other combat-pets are all normally priced at 400 zen. So typical of Cryptic as of late.
Far too overpriced for what you get. If it had been 6k Zen normally and say 4500k zen on sale I'd scoop it up but I'm tired of giving good money for less value to Cryptic.
My thoughts? My thoughts are I just bought the thing, where is it? Nothing appeared in my inventory...
Nevermind...
Have to claim it in the Top Selling tab of the Items tab...
That scared me to death...
Why though?
It's purchased, just put it in my inventory.
Instead I had to go frantically rummaging through the rest of the store.

I think the idea was to buy it with any char, but just claim the bundle in the one you really want.. god knows how many times i claimed something, just to discover that it was character bound and on the wrong char..

Ug, that is severely unfortunate if on wrong character. I understand Cryptic wanting to make it available to buy from any character for availability, & I think that's a good thing, but with some of these packs with 1-character-only content one has to be extra careful when opening.

No Fury on Landry either.
What a farce.
lol really good application of the Rules of Acquisition on this pack, at least parts of it, well done.

I know many didn't like this deal, but I had the zen on hand and thought it sounded fine. I went ahead and bought this morning. However nothing dropped into my inventory. I checked the store under the bundles tab and saw it has "purchased" but nothing to claim. Also, for this new character I thought I'd skipped the tutorial, but the mission tracker still showed some (Tutorial) tasks. Unfortunately I had to leave for work before I could investigate further. I assume when I get back, the ship will be available in the Tier 6 ships list, but...does anyone know when I do get the tutorial tasks cleared, where I can find the LVL 65 bundle?
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

the prices as a whole for most things are getting too high to even come close to a consideration from me anymore. not to mention that the zen cost is high, but then the exchange prices go thru the roof as well.
cosmetic stuff like vanity shields/uniforms/etc., should be able to be had by other means than the exchange or LBs after say 6 months to a year.
anyway, this seems to be the norm going forward and its sad.
I have to agree. It would be nice if PWE put some worth into Gold-Pressed Latinum for vanity stuff. We need more than useless trophies that aren't even usable on most of the newer interiors and bridges.
I had assumed that we were going to be getting the Lorca and Landry boffs that were given away at one of the Star Trek conventions. They had some pretty awesome traits. I also figured that the new boffs they added would also have some neat traits available. Maybe something that leans into that new disco set and its powers that were earned from one of the recent events. I wasnt super interested in the ship. The equipment was just clutter waiting to be replaced. And im not a tank, so the ship trait was kind of whatever too.
I had planned to make a new character in the Disco era and use all the fancy disco sci things, the new set, and so on. So I was pretty pumped for this bundle. Ship trait and equipment aside.
WOH BOY was I ever dissapointed!
The boffs are all pretty standard. Nothing special about any of them. Lorca and Landry are not the same as the convention boffs. The other boffs have nothing remotely interesting about them, other then their look. So, yah. I kind of consider this money wasted.
Again, my fault. Should have watched some youtube review first. Lession learned. And fair warning to anyone else who is in the same situation.

Hmm, you mean the boffs went to your boff reserve interface for example?
Legendary ships come with 2 traits by the way

Yes seems they turned most bundles to work like that, can be a bit confusing to us used in a different way
