With the larger minimum size of the inventory window, it always overlaps the character/ship window when they're both open at 1280x1024.

Sounds like you have an interface scaling issue. You may have your current scaling too high.

With a screen resolution that low you're going to have issues regardless.. STO should enable small HUD options by default when you're below laptop screen sizes, even a laptop has a higher resolution.

Hmm. I guess you could scale the HUD down even further but that would present a lot of issues.
