Best Lock Boxes to open?

So I need some Loby Crystals and the only way to get on them afaik is to open Lock Boxes,

so if I am going to open a bunch of them it would make sense to chose the right ones for the best outcome.
Which would be best to open? Since not every box gives the same rewards.

So should I do 50% infinity boxes and 50% angels boxes u say?

There is a key sale going on, buy as many as you can and hold them until the next Infinity Box drops. It is going to include the new Mirror Warship and will still give a chance for most previously released items.

Thing is all the new stuff in new box I already got and I dont really need credits. I mean I am not going to buy 1 billion EC ship anytime soon, so infinity it will be , I guess.

i seem to remember an article or tread about which boxes have the highest lobi drop rate but that was a few years ago. seems to me there was one that had a higher drop rate than the others

The really old Cardassian green quality lock boxes guaranteed 10 Lobi per box. Those are pretty hard to find though.

Did they? I thought it was just a much better drop chance. I have stacks and stacks of those things that I have not looked at since they stopped dropping improved lock box's. I can confirm the green quality lock box's drop much better then white box's.

I haven't seen one in ages, but I gave the last bunch I had to a friend a couple of years ago because he was looking for Lobi. They were uncommon quality lock boxes. The Cardassian Gold (very rare) I thought were the ones with the better odds. There have been so many darn lock boxes over the years...
