Does Event Campaign Buyout Give Event XP?

I started playing after the Peril Over Pahvo time period of the Event Campaign. I was wondering if I do the Event Buyout option for it, will I get the 700 Campaign XP toward the 2,800 needed for campaign's completion? I want to know for sure before I spend $20 on it. Thanks for anyone's time.

    I forgot that the PC/PS versions of the game aren't linked like other games. Sorry about that. I'll try to remember to be more specific. I'm a PlayStation player. I was wondering if I bought out Peril Over Pahvo (which I have no progress in), would the XP I'dve gotten had I done it at the time be added to the progress bar of its respective campaign. You both answered what I was asking about. Thank you for the information.
