Make Lobi Ship reward for all account characters

We got a choice of rewards at the end of this Campaign. So why not make the lobi ship unlockable for the whole account. Its not much of a choice if you get too chose a tier 6 ship from zen store which is unlocked for all characters or 1000 lobi. Which more than likely be used to get a ship. Only unlocked for 1 toon. Why not make it unlockable for all characters.

Haven't they said they're looking into that?

Maybe it was a Ten Forward stream or something, but I think they were using this as a test case to really see how players use Lobi en masse, and were going to make some changes to Lobi going forward.

I might be wrong, but I swear I heard that somewhere.

they have said they were thinking about it, though I'm guessing it's more throwing account unlocked versions in mudd store rather then letting players reclaim ships bought from lobi store/exchange.

and I believe mike said if people like getting lobi, which they do, cryptic may do more events that give lobi. not anything about them making any changes to the store. in less I missed something which is possible I normally watch the stream as background noise.

Naw that sounds right. I knew something was happening with lobi, but wasn't 100% on what was said.

Either way, it's clear they're looking at lobi right now. So that's good!

Sure it would be nice, but the answer is:

Because account-wide C-Store ships cost $30 while single-character lobi ships cost 900 lobi from around 200 lockboxes ($200) or from around $40 worth of keys in the exchange.

If Cryptic ever decides to make lobi ships account-wide unlocks for just 900 lobi then you'll have a fair point, but that has not happened yet. Right now a single-character unlock is the equivalent of the C-Store ship.

This falls under the FCT since it is basically asking for an account wide lobi reward. see section 23 of the FCT. https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1245086/the-f-c-t-frequently-created-threads-list-2-0

This has been answered with a no from the devs at this time. maybe down the road we will see a mechanism to do account wide box and lobi, but that day is not today. /closed.
