Game UI arrangement between multiple PCs

I’m currently running STO on a laptop that I primarily use in two different locations. Because the monitors in these two places are different sizes (1920 vs an ultrawide), I find I need to change the ui scale between them and then, consequently, rearrange the hud to get rid of huge gaps / recenter stuff / unoverlap things.

I’m in the process of upgrading an older pc for the ultrawide, so I’ll be using these two exclusively together, and the laptop exclusively with the 1920.

What I want to know is if anyone knows if my setting up the ui scale and arrangement on the pc is going to effect the laptop and vice versa, or is all of this just local / independent to the computer it’s on?

there's a console command to save the UI settings to a file. IIRC "/ui_save [filename]" then copy the file to the other comp and "/ui_load [filename]"

It's a local file in your game directory on that particular machine.

I always change the UI scale and thats all, i just arrange they way i like it in the big one, and scale in the little one.. but i dont have an ultra wide screen, i use a 4k 55 tv and a 1920 notebook..
