Can we get some fed ships that dont look like pizza cutters?

And I know the section 31 ships are kinda rectangular, but they're a pain to get. I'm talking about some slick, streamlined designs that dont look like elongated pizza cutters, and that are common enough for the average player to get and play with. Call them prototypes or something. Seems like all the other alien races have some slick designs but the feds are still flying around in pancakes.

New fed ships? Are there not enough yet? In all the years that I have played STO, there are no or hardly any new ones for the Rom and KDF group. Now we know that KDF is a fraction that gets almost no attention in the game but that there may be something new that makes it easier to have it playable, because compared to the Feds and KDF it is like KDF playing on hard and with Feds on easy. And yes I also have Fed characters, but lately I also like to play with my KDF.

I think there are already many options for fed ships that don't follow the pizza cutter design:

    1. many of the escorts including the defiant variants,
    2. some of the science ships are not pizza cutters,
    3. Tellarite carrier and Caitian carrier,
    4. Andorian escorts,
    5. 31st century starships (not technically fed ships, but playable by feds),
    6. not to mention the cornucopia of promo, lock box, and lobi ships.

I think us Roms and the KDF deserve some new ships before anymore Fed ships are released.

Oh, I almost forgot: the brand new promo ship from Picard is a Fed ship if I am not mistaken.

I'd say the classic round saucer design is actually the minority of all available fed ships, let alone all the ships in the game. They moved from circular saucers to wedges some time ago.

In addition to what the others already said I am wondering why the calls to change the unique signature design of the franchise to something completely different instead of simply going somewhere else in the first place. I'd wish more ships would adhere to the classic design language.

When I retired, one of the gifts I got from my staff was the Star Trek Pizza Cutter. Are you trying to deny me my Pizza??? :)
