Casual player looking for fleet

Hi all,


According to Steam i have dropped 270 odd hrs into the game just fumbling about episodes etc.
Am looking for something casual that can help me progress.
That and am getting fed up of the ninja invites. Need to woo me with curry and a beer before i will except
Ninja invites didn't work back in my WoW days

Am on most days as i am running the game along side working (If anyone asks i am working real hard)

Am playing a fed tactical and bumping around currently in a Kelvin Heavy Destroyer

Hi Syrinx, this is Grayfox from Liberty Task Force (Fed), Liberty Honor Guard (KDF), Pride of the Federation (Fed), Pride of the Empire (KDF), and Liberty Guardians (Fed)...yes we have five distinct high level fleets.

We’re a very casual friendly fleet and armada. We don’t have crazy requirements, like number of days to be active before being kicked. If we have room in our fleets for your characters they won’t get kicked ever unless the rosters become full...and we have 3 fleets to move characters around to anyway.

We’re an active group, usually someone is always on even UK players. In fact one of the fleets in our armada is UK based.

We have an active website at www.libertytaskforce.com and also Discord server as well as TeamSpeak and cross faction in-game chat channel open for any member to use.

Most of our members are 30 and up with families and jobs so we just putz around in the game and have fun. Some of the members take the game more serious and are high DPSers, others are just causal gamers. Some literally just hang around the chat, website, and discord for the social aspect. We also hold and do events and activities where we prize in game items to our members. Some activities are simply trivia on our website. There are obligations to participate at all.

Access Denied is a well established active, casual, friendly Tire 5 Fed fleet
Naw'Tem is the T5 KDF sister fleet of Access Denied.

Our Federation and KDF Armadas both have the highest level in STO. We became the number 1 Armada on the Federation side last summer and have been the number 1 KDF armada for 4 years now.

Hello there,

I'm also a returning player and LOVE STO. I'm coming to check out from EVE/WOW and trying the new experience.

Any guild or fleets recruiting out there?

From what I see there are some in here that keep on posting daily but after some research not sure how I feel about that.
I'm looking for a casual as the OP but not rigid experience. In WOW like in STO there are many choices and tired of getting burned with despotic semi dictator leaders. NOT looking for a small guild but neither a corporate type structure.

Most of the fleets that post daily do so just so it bumps up their thread so it doesn’t get lost on page two. Most recruitment happens on page one and at the top of the page.

You can give us a try. We really have no major requirements other than don’t be a jerk. We don’t kick characters out because they’re away, there’s no logging in once a week or anything. You want to participate in stuff you do so. You want to be a quiet lone wolf with the benefits of a fleet go ahead. We have some of those as well.

Thanks for the info. Like I said been burned before with other guilds in the past and not very fond of those fleets that keep spamming cold invites in ESD, social zones or even in these forums. To me all of these are the same as spamming invites.

I also served in a guild in WOW and used similar tools but tbh seems as a desperate attempt to get more inflated numbers. It might send a wrong signal why people don't want to join certain guilds/fleets that keep spamming. However, buyer be aware and we all have to start somewhere.

I was contacted via forum PM directly by another promising fleet and will give that a shot. Thanks anyways!

Seems counter-intuitive then to come to the forums and post on someone else’s thread 🤔 claiming you be tired of spamming invites but get a pm.

Either, way we don’t spam invites in the game just bump our fleet recruitment to the top.
