The Ship Upgrade Token is used on many T5 Ships to Upgrade them from 9 to 10 Consoles (Fleet Grade ships go from 10 to 11). That allows the T5 Ship to have four levels of Ship Mastery as well. So an upgraded T5 ship is called a T5U, with Fleet Ships are sometimes called FT5U.
The four Levels of Ship Mastery that the upgraded T5 ship (T5U) gets increases offense, defense, or other things depending on the type of ship (Escort, Crusier Battlecrusier, Science, etc.). Upgraded T5 (T5U) Ships never get a Starship Trait to unlock in and of themselves (the fifth Level of Mastery). That is only given by T6 Ships and not actual Fleet T6 Ships. They too are limited to the four Levels.
Some T5 Ships - Lockbox/Lobi Store/Event Ships get free Upgrades to T5U.
I hope that makes sense.

It would be nice to see the Prometheus model and ship variants get this sort of treatment. The model looks nice, but it still has some bugs that date back to its addition to the game.
Perhaps, but it can still be done better. They never fixed the bug with the saucer nacelle in Multi-Vector Assault Mode though. I also wouldn't mind TMP and some of the other newer hull types and windows be added to the model.
I just realized that we can compare the Akira bundle to the intrepid bundle. The intrepid bundle is T4/5/6 instead of T3/5/6 and includes interiors instead of a fleet module and is 500 zen cheaper.
In that context, I don't agree with their pricing here. Drop the fleet module and at least make this 5000 to reflect the lower tier ship and lack of interiors.

Valid imo since similar comparison. I think someone(s) at Cryptic priced it this high with the type of thinking of: "well we just took away the option of all the tier 1-4 ships being able to be account-wide unlocked so those players will now be starving for any now with account-wide unlocking." I expect more to come of this "refreshing" the same old with new paint jobs, & the majority will be Fed.
they can't possibly be selling this to anyone who has been here more than a minute, because chances are if you have been playing more than a month even casual you have at least one of them.

If there was a zen charge bonus I might buy it at the current sale price of 3900 zen, as that would put it at about the same sale price based on my suggestion 5000-20%= 4000 zen. In the future this will only go on sale for 4800 zen which is too high.
It's still 40€ retail price. 40 bucks for one ship. My opinion hasn't changed in all these years: 20 for a end-game ship was okay, not great, but okay. But the prices just go up while not having anything new to really use the ships for and that is weird.

Fed ships having multiple passes on visual updates yet KDF hasn't received any, even on the canon ships like the B'Rel, Vor'Cha, Negh'Var.
Actually nope... The D7 got a visual update, but only because of specific variants being tied to Promotion Packs. Not even the old T5 / T5U D7 / K'T'Inga variants got the update.

No matter which way you slice it, this bundle is not priced correctly and I can't justify buying it until it is.
