Who else would like to see re-designs of original STO Federation starship designs?

I've not really looked around, but personally I am quite fond of the designs that the original Star Trek Online artists came up with for many of the different class variants. They have a 'utility' or 'mechanical' feel, and were almost more militaristic in order to fight (and explore) during times of war and danger. It was an interesting direction at first.

However, with the change in direction to 'shinier' vessels like the Belleraphon, the Exeter and the Venture classes, to name but a few, we sort of saw a sleeker and more streamlined look, which I cannot complain about. These designs are nice too, and do feel more like Star Trek. The latest vessels, however, are starting to feel over-done in my opinion. There's something about them that just doesn't glue for me. I can't quite put my finger to it.

In any case, the original STO designs/variants now look completely out of place in the STO universe, especially due to the fact that we never see NPC ships using these designs enough to make them feel like they were useful to Starfleet.

So does anybody else out there agree with me that it would be a pleasant sight to see these variants get some kind of visual upgrade, while sticking true to these original looks for the most part?
