So for those out of the loop, I can provide a short summary about the pits of Risa #1 while the summer event is inactive. It is essentially a compact personal experience of the ESD zone chat. What may be considered 'trolling' is essentially the number one pass time of the Risian inhabitants. Risa only provides the basic services of any other social map, so it doesn't hold any significance outside of the event period. All summer event gear is available in the event reputation tab and the accolades aren't all that important so I'm sure people could hold their urges until the summer time. All that conspires on Risa is a pool of miscreants endlessly mistreating each other. Consuming a considerable chunk of GM's time and as a product, bans aren't uncommon among the populace of about 15 people. It has been this way since, 2015? My first arrival and experiences of seeing the endless supply of players attacking other players. So it is in my strong opinion that the healthiest option to break up a seemingly endless quarrel is to separate the parties involved. And I'm sure it's at little expense to the Star Trek Online community, as about 0.15% of us go to Risa anyway. I am 99.9% certain that no action would actually be taken, but I think it is interesting to talk about these issues, so what do you think?

To be fair, outside of the event, I usually only go there for photography while there are fewer people around, so it's no surprise I don't see any activity.
Having said that, is this a time-zone thing? I dunno.
In the end, it matters very little to me which way it goes. I can take photos anywhere, and I think that these days, Dranuur is far nicer anyway. Perhaps this means that Risa needs an overhaul too, one reason to take it offline for a while I suppose.
And my first GPL purchase on any Character is the Subspace Party Nullifier.
By the way Petitions are not allowed. I suggest you change the Title of the Thread to remove the offending words.

Perhaps they could limit the maximum amount of players in an instance though, that might solve something as it would allow players to switch to another one if they're bothered by someone else.

Best and most logical solution
Why deny the something to the many because of the sins the few.
Hello rubber banding my old friend, time to bounce around the battlezone again, where are all my bug reports going?, out of love with this game I am falling, As Cryptic fail to acknowledge a problem exists, Shakes an angry fist, And from Support all I'm hearing are the sounds of silence.

No.
Fine, enjoy the thread closure genius.. he was trying to help you.
The request is silly anyway. Report the players and put them on ignore. No need to be a drama queen and make a forum thread.
Once you have familiarized yourselves with the community rules and guidelines I would also advise you to familiarize yourself with the Frequently Created Thread list found here: https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline/#/discussion/1245086/the-f-c-t-frequently-created-threads-list-2-0
Threads covered in FCT are no permitted here on the forums due to issues they cause, and/or already having a concrete answer from developers in place. If you are experiencing issues in game, put those players on ignore and do not associate with them. If they attempt to bypass this ignore or things escalate to the point of harassment, report it to GMs immediately and it will be dealt with appropriately according to ToS for the game and/or the law if need be. If you are unsure of how to file a ticket you can go to the Support section of the site here and find the sections for each of the 3 platforms. You can also drop a message to myself and/or one of my cohorts if you are uncertain of how to proceed and we will direct you to the appropriate place.
With all of that said a word of advice, asking them to close down entire maps and social zones probably isn't going to go over well here. You are free to make requests of developers within reason and provided they're kept civil, but I don't see closing off Risa as being a solution to the problem. /thread
