Warp in sequence

ambrodeldkambrodeldk Member Posts: 14 Arc User
Hey there.

Long time player that has finally had enough and needs to ask a question:

When changing scenery and your ship warps in or out, the mouse gets locked to the screen. As I run dual monitors, I often do other stuff on the other screen, so the game is in Windowed Maximized mode. But whenever I warp in or out and get that sequence, my mouse gets locked to that monitor, even if STO is not the active window due to a fast alt-tab.

CAN I turn this *naughty word* off? If so, HOW? It has finally annoyed me enough that I started yelling at the screen, which obviously didn't help a bit...

Huh I run two screens as well and have never had that problem. Can tab in and out and move mouse fine. Hmm you running STO in Admin mode? I launch that way.

I can tab out of it too, no problems there. What I would like to not happen is the lock in the first place. Why should a cinematic (not just warping, also beaming up and storylines) require the mouse to be in the gamewindow at all? Just play it and let us move the mouse around as we please.

I thought this was going to be about the often completely out of sequence animations
