I arrive with my AoY/TOS character, along with Tarsi. And I'm told from our uniforms that we are from the future....
Well our ToS character are from the 2270s while Burnham went MIA in late 2250s so to her your uniform is from the future, little over 10 years from the future to be exact (IIRC the TOS arc is set in the year 2270, while season 2 of DSC was set in 2258 or 2259). Also our TOS characters are suppose to be disguised as officers from the 25th century.
Not mention that this isn't the real commander Burnham but a copy.
For me, the length of the missions is fine, but I found there was too much going on at times...
Borg were spawning, the floors were shocking, portals were opening, big red areas of doom were always there, and the Borg T'ket was popping in and out...
It was too much for me to keep track of. I have the TR-116, the Tommy gun, etc... So, doing damage wasn't the issue. But I couldn't keep track of where bosses were and stay out of harm's way...

The two new missions are great EXCEPT 1 HOUR EACH IS WAY TOOOOOOOO LONG.
Between the TFO AND The missions i spent over 2.5 hours just doing 3 things. I hope you realize not everyone can devote an hour to a mission every single day when they work full time. These missions need to be rethought and shrunk down.
Oh and the timeouts and lag right now are making the game practically unplayable so i literally got off the game 2 min ago and will be remaining off the game till later tonight. Hopefully things calm down a little by then.
The Part 1 and 2 missions were wonderfully done and a refreshing change from doing the same thing every day for the shiny... which starts again tomorrow. The new missions were a reminder of the good old days in STO when they were longer and, IMO, had more meaning.
And I especially loved To Hell With Honor... aside from the lag, which was to be expected on Day 1, I thought the planetary graphics alone were beautiful and would like to see a wallpaper made with that sometime.

Due to time restraints i will only be doing the omega game <shivers> but i look forward to playing the new TFO and 2nd episode this weekend.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Since when did Mikey Spoke get all high and mighty ? she shot T'Kuvma in cold blood and she gets stroppy when the female changling guts Noye like a fish ?

No, that was self-defence for a start, and it was an active conflict.

I thought Jeri Ryan did a great job and it was good seeing (hearing) her back in Star Trek Online. I'm not a fan of Michael Burnham's character even a little bit but have enjoyed her other work, Walking Dead and so forth. I enjoyed the new episodes and call backs to previous ones. The voice over done by the Lincoln actor was quite good. Overall, very nice job developers. Thank you for your hard work!

The "To Hell With Honor" is fun as long as all players are participating. It also seems one has an advantage on this map if you equip a cloak.
The 2-part mission I find good, it is drawn-out a bit but that is part of the reason it is slightly different & good. It is definitely not a mission to play repeatedly a lot.
I arrive with my AoY/TOS character, along with Tarsi. And I'm told from our uniforms that we are from the future....
That happens because the game doesn't know better. It happened before with travel through time to meet Scotty too. Wearing the TOS uniforms and he says how they look different.
The new missions? BOO YAAH!
The new TFO? BOO YAAH! SOME MORE!

Well, to be fair...the character IS 130 or so years old at that point - plus at that point the Uniforms of the last service era he recalls were of the "Monster Maroon" variety.

Spoiler-free: The last battle(s) in the new mission(s) went much more smoothly for me when my Rom whipped out his bat'leth and started going to town on the REDACTED. Sure, he died a few times, but he got better...
I have to say I really enjoyed the new season. The new missions are spot on and done with such professionalism. I have to say Cryptic you guys knocked this one out of the park.

Man I hope they got permission to use the 2001 A Space Oddyssey theme music for the TO Hell With Honor TFO.
You mean the Ride of the Valkyries, by Richard Wagner? Yeah, I don't think they need permission for that one!
I thought it was a really nice choice, considering all the things shooting at you! Made it really nice to play it.
Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.

Agree, I have to admit my first run-through I didn't hear it, but such a classic & well themed music for this map. Well chosen, Cryptic.

Same, took me until the second time to get it - I had the music turned pretty low up until then, and with all the sounds effect going on around me, the music was very difficult to hear. But once I did... "hell yeah"!

Good choice of music for a battle but odd that no trek battle themes were used.
Burnham is as bland as ever. Disco having only just started airing on freeview channels here and just had the "frat party" episode with mudd and timeloop (ships in danger so lets spend 30 minutes slowdancing in the corridor while extras do this odd running animation past them) so that chunk of part one didn't grab me at all, other than an attempt to adapt (or replicate) a certain enemy from SG:1 and atlantis.
About to do part 2 for todays daily but it feels like they've fallen into the video game trap of giving a moral choice that means bugger all in the end.
it is a great idea to add more tfos, BUT there is 1 problem; players pick always the same tfos. I do random tfos all the time for the bonus marks, and this is just boring; i spend my time in the same tfos.
If you could add a way to earn marks by doing solo content, that would be awesome. currently, it is just not funny to play with others, in fact for me, it is a pain in the TRIBBLE. Players who don't know what to do, afkers, + always the same tfos.
About the 10th anniversary content: first of all, the rework of iconia, brea, obisek's face, hakeev's face are just awesome. Seven of nine (the borg one) is very nicely done, and it is always a pleasure to play missions with the seven/seven of nine character.
I like very much the missions, even if I had troubles with the iconian robots (forgotten their name) which are on the roofs at the end of the first part. my toons are not protected against flank damages . I don't understand why burnham is present in the missions, but it doesn't even matter.
the new tfo is also very cool. I like the fact that we are attacked by everything: turrets, ships, walkers.
Played through the 2nd half and noticed that burnham never actually fires her phaser, she just stands there pointing it while seven is the opposite going nuts dual wielding assault rifles.
The first boss was a bit meh as was their borgified form, but it did lead into better fights. Electrified floors combined with a root that comes without a telegraph is a bit TRIBBLE.
Space section could have been a wee bit longer and I was surprised that the event ship didn't turn up with the cavalry piloted by martok, worf or other alliance figurehead. Indeed there could have been a whole slew of ships and characters we've met and interacted with arriving like kumarke, odo, nog, geordi etc before the final group arrive as the bundle advert.
Since when did Mikey Spoke get all high and mighty ? she shot T'Kuvma in cold blood and she gets stroppy when the female changling guts Nora like a fish ?

No, that was self-defence for a start, and it was an active conflict.
No, the whole point was to capture him to prevent him becoming a martyr thus ending the conflict. But she shot him to death because her captain/best friend was stabbed by him.
She could have stunned him as per the plan, she purposely changed her phaser to kill thus martyring him
Many thanks to the team at Cryptic/STO for all the new content this update has brought.
I have especially enjoyed the new episodes, but felt that there's just too many foes to take down at times. It's easy enough to just respawn after dying, but that can ruin the illusion. If you must throw 5000 enemies at us to fight, at least do it in a few waves rather than all at once.
It'd probably be a little easier if all my gear was Mk XV, but if you're only handing out Mk XII stuff at the end of a mission, it should be playable with Mk XII gear.
Just airing a thought...

One question: What was the yesterdays giveaway (28.01.)? I was unable to stop by yesterday.
Not big on Mary Sue showing up, but rest is ok. Love the TOS stuff in it.
I love long quests.

Nice observation, I want to confirm but not going to redo that mission again yet lol.
Also, kudos to whomever(s) did the character selection screen, nicely done, & does it change time of day/night?
