using lobi to unlock anniversary ship?

during the winter event 2019 I was able to get the ship on day one just by using 1000 lobi. Will we be able to use lobi again to unlock the 10 year anniversary ship?

    Probably not. The scaling buy-out they are applying to all new events requires zen not lobi.

    The Winter ship was Lobi Buyout Dave.

    In previous years the progress boosters were available for lobi so there's a chance the buyout will use them.

    Still a fledgling system and subject to change so it may well end up being whatever they feel will get them the most money, zen vs gambleboxing for lobi.

    As per the 10th Anniversary Omega Event news:
    Players unable to find the time to complete the Event, or interested in rushing to complete their progress, will have the opportunity to purchase the remainder of their Daily Progress using Zen at any time. The base price for this buyout will be discounted based on the amount of Daily Progress you have already accrued.

    So, unless they change something it's gonna be Zen.

    Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.

    Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
    - quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna è fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
    - quelli che credono a quello a cui è giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui è giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;

    Ai giocatori dei primi due tipi, gratis in omaggio un bello specchio lucente su cui arrampicarsi. E una mazzata in testa per la loro poca intelligenza e compassione verso gli altri giocatori che non la pensano come loro.
    Agli appartenenti al terzo tipo, invece, dico grazie. Anche se non sempre si riesce a mantenere la calma, siete quelli per cui vale la pena incazzarsi.

    I think it's only the Summer and Winter events that allow(ed) you to use lobi to buy out the ship, if you have enough. Otherwise you could just jump-start your progression.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Do the daily scan thing (afk or active) and buy it at the end if you need to, waste of zen as a day one purchase.

    Agreed. The zen buyout scales down. The more you do to advance your progression (whether particle scanning or doing missions that will advance it), the lower the price is.

    I once came within a day of getting all my progression and the buyout was 300z.
