All you have are Out of touch Developers that cannot think of anything new to put into the game to make us sink Dil. into it, so they TRIBBLE up the Omega event in the hopes we will sink Dil. into Phoenix boxes for upgrades. The Devs. are really pushing people away with these types of ideas. Here is a clear example, I don't have a right hand that works, so I play pretty much one handed, now, I cannot use the mouse left handed worth a flip, so, I either buy my Omegas or I spend days in severe pain trying to grind them....Or, I could just do the minimum and spend my money on another game like BDO, which offers better and more fulfilling life skills. Now, the Developers have made me start searching for new games, and guess what, they are out there.

the original omega upgrade is still in the R&D and you do NOT need dil for it. Just the 2 new versions do require dil. Original Omega is 3 purple shards... the new versions require 2 plus dil. So you can still make the original Omega for zero dil.

Yea this statement is very much true, and while I know some still greatly like the regular Omega Upgrades, several others do like the new Omega that offer's increased Marks as well.

It's not for logging in, it is for completing daily activities 20 days out of 25.

At this point it's too late to get the ship completely free, but there is a buyout for Zen that scales down as you finish more dailies.

You can use the up and down arrows on the keyboard as well and not just the mouse. I disagree that they are out of touch though.

You cannot get nearly as high of a score without using the mouse. That's what they mean. Either they suffer hand pain from using the mouse in their left hand, or they use the arrow keys and get a much worse reward that is a waste of time.

And they kind of are out of touch. They make decisions every once in a while that are just baffling or don't do anything for the players or lower the experience. Such as this omega change, itnserves no purpose other than it greatly reduces the desirability of the omega particles themselves. Admittedly they have made far worse decisions in the past, and recently they don't often do drastic changes anymore. Many people still remember the horror that was delta rising when it first launched. As an example of another change they made was Kemocite weaponry which went from very good to absolutely broken and worthless to back to decent, far worse than it's original state

I have gotten into a particular pattern for the entire 19 days so far.

First Omega is Vulcan, Andoria, or Wolf 359. Vulcan or Andoria could be space or ground.

Second is always DS9, space or ground.

    Third is always Drozana space.

I have gotten over 600 a few times getting two slivers, mostly at Drozana. High score about 650. Mainly upper 400s to upper 500s.

Lolz... it started broken(in that it didn't activate properly and did some weird phantom activation thing), then they half-step patched and reduced it's scope, then they did a proper fix that put it where it should have been in the first place.

Yeah, DS9 and ESD ground both lag. Defera isn't that bad most of the time.

When it isn't lagging I can score almost perfectly. When it lags, less than 2000

Actually, you are right, I have gotten Defera ground about three times in that second spot.

I do hate DS9 ground as I waste a load of time there looking for the bloody Particles.

Oh, so do I. Sometimes I can get lucky on my way around it and it will point to a particle, generally if it's upstairs. Other times I just have to hunt.

The ones I've found on DS9 so far.

Quark's, in the table around the corner to the left as you enter. Behind Leeta, near the wall, can appear slightly hidden froma distance due to the murial. Third floor, pretty much directly above Quark.

Second Floor Promenade. Just outside of Quark's, on the crossover. At the Mugata NPC. Between Mugata and NPC group further down. With the group further down. Then in one of the alcoves inner promenade, has an andorian female and human female talking in it.

The FPS drop is awful at times since the update dropped. Many times during the activity the FPS drops to a stutter for a second then speeds up. Given up even trying to score high. But the FPS drop is also happening even flying through sector space now, but weirdly, this doesn't happen in missions.

I do try for at least 2200, as that's the lowest score to score a sliver and three traces. Still, I don't agonize over it either. Just take what I can get and go on.

I do two particles at each stop just to have a few more traces than doing just one.

dependng of lag, i rarelly do more than 1800, still, it's enough for me, i'll convert them all to rarity upgrades.. so, whatever

I could really care less about the omega particle mini game. It doesn't affect my universe at all.

My goal now is 600, thus giving me two Slivers. Too many lost on the jumps and not registrations.

For me, the Omega mini-game was always the toughest mini-game. I had never seen so much as a second trace. I just don't have the hand/eye coordination of your average MMO players.

Buying the colored traces was the only way I ever put enough traces in my inventory to make more than just a dozen or so Omega Techs. Last year was the first year had managed enough EC to buy and make me more than 100 Omega Techs. I had been piling up my EC hoping this would be the year I finally get enough Omegas to finally have one ship and one Captain be truly great with a lot of Golds at maxed out levels to make the game easier for me when playing new Mission tougher STOs.

That said, I seem to have been getting 2 color traces even if I only reach 500 and 3 if I reach 900 and at 980 the game gave me more that just color traces, as I got a silver and a trace. Never happened to me before. Not even once.

The mini-game still gets a little glitchy, but that's probably because my settings are a little high for my older system, I'll live.

Either way, the current mini is much more generous than it used to be. IMHO

I find if I lower my graphics to the lowest low (not minimum, 1 notch above that) then the minigame flows much more smoothly.

Since I only need higher graphics inside the Dyson Sphere I can live with that during the Anniversary Event.

I generally score between 800 and 1500 using the arrow keys, and usually wind up with 3 Traces.

Although I no longer need to do so because as of this date, Grunt has transferred his command from the Nandi-class USS Mixalot to the Khitomer-class AFS Sheer Freaking Hubris.

I agree, it was not made clear that omega molecules would be account bound and not able to sell them on the exchange.

Many people do not have the money to purchase ships and relied on farming omega molecules, selling them on the exchange and obtaining energy credits.

This enabled them to purchase ships that they would never be able to get.

    Totally unfair and disgusting.
