Hi,
So this will be kind of a review, I'll post some pictures up later and dig up some old threads on the forum.
I'm one of those that purchased a gameprint model of my own ship the day the service became available, it was very expensive. I got the hand painted 12" collectable.
It took months to get the ship from gameprint and the customer service back then was awful.
Now we're here, a few short years later and my gameprint model has died. It's been sitting on my desk since I got it, never moved it around. I dusted it off with compressed air now and then. It's never been in direct sunlight.
From the time I got it, the nacelle's had some sag.. Over the time, they started to sag more and more and more. Today they just cracked and split off, it startled me when I was sitting at my PC to say the least.
Over time the bright paint also became more and more dull, the red parts on the impulse engine turned to pink then white..
The blue deflector has slowly turned to green for some reason..
Sent a few e-mails to the guys over at gameprint and asked if this is how a model is supposed to be after a while and they like when I first purchased my ship. They don't really bother to respond to anyone, considering the horrible experience others have had with gameprint.
I'd caution people to buying models and ships from them, the quality is bad. The customer service is non existant, you can just google and look up some more reviews yourself.
I'll write a better one soon and add some pictures, but yeah. Stay away from gameprint, I'd suggest going with Eaglemoss or Diamond Select for your model needs. The custom name and registry isn't really worth it, it's not even worth it if you have a STO ship or a kitbash, the quality of the model is too poor.
You can lash out a ton of bucks on them if you want, but they are going to be imperfect. You'll nave nacelle sag or screwed up paintwork, just.. Spend your money elsewhere.

Some people have enjoyed their gameprint ship, but I agree with getting standard models from Eaglemoss or some other location. If someone wants a Cryptic ship, then the only options are gameprint or try to create their own.
My Constitution[Refit]/Exeter kitbash is still holding together, so I might have had more luck. Though my model seemed to have no inital flaws to begin with. (The delivery/production time however was abysmal, I waited several months for it to arrive.)
Though it could also be based on the specifics of the model - how thick or thin model parts are, how the individual components are connected/glued together.
I definitely think no one should get a gameprint model for just the registry and name. If it's not a kitbash or Cryptic only, you should get a far cheaper model kit or Eaglemoss model or something like that.
