New Romulus (Dewa iii) location different from actual star trek

I was just wondering why Dewa was placed in a different location than what it is in acutal Star Trek? I just noticed this. Is it for a reason or is it a mistake? And will it ever be corrected? I realize it's just a game and there's a lot of stuff not in actual star trek but I was just curious.

Most stuff in STO is not located where it is in Star Trek.

And even in Star Trek some things change locations from time to time, another prime example is how Star Trek always refers to the "Alpha Quadrant" while in STO Earth is located in the Beta Quadrant. So is the Klingon Empire, Romulan Empire.. Vulcan and Andoria.

Well technically in lore Earth is located at exact AQ/BQ border so it could technically be in both that said it would be near impossible to make that work in gameplay so Cryptic desided to move a bit for gameplay reasons.

In fact most misplaced planets atm seem to be there on purpose for gameplay reasons, based on what statements Cryptic has made.

yeah Earth could be in eaither Beta or alpha quadrants. TRADTIONALLY it's considered in the Alpha Quadrant, however from a Map design putting it in the Beta Quadrant actually makes more sense
