Pets in "Mycelial Realm"

Is there a reason why the "Shard of Possibilities" works in "Mycelial Realm", but "Security Escort" and the "Bio-Engineered Furiadon" don't? I'm not sure what other pets work or don't work in that mission.

There are a few missions in which you can't bring reinforcements like Security Escorts. The reasons are fluff (no trasnporters or something) and arbitrary, not based in game play methinks. At least I have seen them greyed out in the past.

On an Engineer "Orbital Strike" is greyed out too, but hey, since technically it requires your Starship be in orbit, I fine with the fact that the game mission desingers are observing these small facts of minute/lore from their own game backstory.

Yes, on some (not all though) underground or indoor maps Orbital Strike doesn't work.

So for fluff reasons, shard clones are allowed, but security escorts and dinosaurs are not? I almost wonder if the tardigrades in that mission are somehow interfering with some pets but not others.

Orbital Strike is working for me in that mission, but it did next to nothing to the Elachi Predator I used it on. I'm not sure it has anything to do with lore. From what I remember, Orbital Strike worked in plenty of missions where you're supposed to be underground.
