Making Romulan Items & Uniforms usefull for Federation & KDF.....

Anyways, When the Romulan Ships came out for all to use, ALOT of little details were not addressed....For a Fed. or KDF. to make a Rom. Ship Buildable on the Other Faction. Like some Consoles only available to Rom, need now be made Game Wide & Vice Versa...…

Also, saying that making the Current Romulan-Federation Alliance Uniform available to Fed & Klingon-Romulan Alliance Uniform available to KDF Toons would be against the: " Romulan Storyline "....How so, you would just be making it as if in the Transfer of the Romulans into Starfleet & the KDF, some Starfleet and Federation Citizens as well as thoses from the Empire seeking Glory, who desided to go into service with the Republic to help D'Tan build and shape New Romulus!

I believe that would solve all the Storyline issues....I would like to hear your thoughts and input on this solution.....

    If you want to go into making 'Starfleet' et al. citizens for use in the Romulan storyline, just use the Alien gen and create one. no need to waste Dev time on that. I did that with my 'human' renegade joining the KDF, and it plays perfectly fine.

    The rest of your idea is confusing. You say lots, but really don't give any details of what has been 'missed'. As for the uniforms, it doesn't make sense to make 'military' uniforms available for those that aren't in that military. The Romulan Republic has it's own military code uniform way into the 29th Century, as does every other faction, so we know that sort of integration doesn't happen.

    As mentioned, Alien generator solves alot of bother.

    They do have the Romulan-Federation Alliance Uniform & Klingon-Romulan Alliance Uniform available.....

    Keep them all the same, just make the stuff interchangeable

    I think since the republic officers can captain a starship of their allied faction they should have access to Federation and Kdf uniforms. Because they are pretty much liaison officer's in Starfleet and KDf respectively. I mean they could open up romulan republic uniforms for fed/kdf bridge officers serving the romulan republic. Maybe have it open for those that have unlocked a romulan starship on fed and kdf side . So when flying a republic warbird said starfleet or kdf officer would be representing the republic in the same manner that Romulans are representing starfleet or the kdf when flying fed and kdf starships. So it would be perfecly acceptable for starfleet and kdf being able to wear the republic uniform when they are flying their vessels. But only if romulans can do the same with their allies uniforms. Roms should be able to wear starfleet and kdf outfits if kdf and feds can wear the republics uniform.

    1. Liaison-officers still wear the uniform of their respective faction. Remember the romulan officer on the Defiant on her first trip to the GQ?

    2. RR-bridge-officers obtained by non-RR Players do use the RR-uniforms.

    1. Liaison-officers still wear the uniform of their respective faction. Remember the romulan officer on the Defiant on her first trip to the GQ?

    2. RR-bridge-officers obtained by non-RR Players do use the RR-uniforms.

    Not to mention Kira Nerys when she was a Major, before she was picked up by the Federation. She wore her Bajoran Uniform all the time, including when she took out the Defiant and Runabouts.

    Come to think about it, the Bajoran Militia in-game still wear Bajoran Uniforms despite being members of the federation.

    No. It's bad enough that they've made almost every ship cross-Faction now. Let's retain SOME Faction exclusivity. The only thing I would want to be able to do with uniforms is put my Faction's uniform on any of my BOFFs.

    Tailor restrictions are unfortunate and should be all removed, but have nothing to do with unlocking the ships.

    @redeyedraven & @leemwatson, You say that Liaison-officers still wear the uniform of their respective faction. While that is true we are talking about a 1 time mission or outing with the other faction. What I am saying, " Is that you should be allowed to wear the Romulan Alliance Fed or KDF Uniform to show that you have made a Commitment to Serve In the Forces of the Romulan Republic. That is a Mission that will last and make a Career Officer within the Ranks of the Romulan Republic.

    Riker still wore a Starfleet uniform when he was on exchange....Kurn still wore a Klingon uniform when he was.

    I just don't get why everyone has to have everything? Are some people so jealous that one faction has something they don't?

    I understand what you mean, but that will require Cryptic to program like they did with the Fed Klingon Captain and make it a Zen purchase, but as I said, I can already do that for free with the Alien Gen and give them the uniform that way, so there is no need for them to do so.

    @leemwatson, Again I am not looking for an Alien! I want the Real Fed. & KDF to have access to those outfits. You however can do as you wish.
