Question: Any plans to make the Kelvin ships account-wide?

Just wondering if the Kelvin timeline ships, won from packs; will recieve the same 'account-wide' extension the Risian corvette has?
I'd like that please. -- and the 'Metreon Gas Warhead Launcher' (any word on the status of that?)

The Risian Corvette is different from the Kelvin Timeline ships. You're on Xbox, so I'll give you a bit of a history lesson.
- The Risian Corvette T5 ship was not originally only obtainable from the Phoenix prize pack. On PC, the Corvette was the first ship released for the Summer event. Like the version you get from the prize pack, the ship was originally a per character unlock.
- for the 3rd summer event in 2015, They decided to make all event reputation ships released prior as account unlocked ships, as the Ferengi Nandi Warship was being released as the first account unlocked ship following this change.
- The Risian Corvette that both PC and Consoles got this year is an updated Tier 6 version.
I predominently play games on PC (just not this one) and it's vastly different to consoles. Generally not in terms of "content", but more in so many 'little ways'. I actually chose to do this MMO on console as a test to see if it's worth it playing MMO's on console -- The console team have done a wonderful job. That doesn't mean (as a PC gamer), I don't have suggestions.
The corvette was an event ship, the kelvin ships are lockbox ships. Event ships get account wide unlocks (if you did the event), box ships do not because money.
I don't think it's that. It makes no sense afterall. I mean -- if that was the case, then (logically) you wouldn't be able to trade lock box ships on the exchange. Which you can buy them fairly regularly on there.
Which is why I'm asking this question. As it stands, you cannot trade event ships (which are account global unlocks). I'm just wondering if they are considering making lock box ships the same global unlock (which you can buy on the exchange) via say... the Reclaim store?

To the OP, it makes perfect sense the way they have different systems for Lockbox and Event ships. Just because lockbox ships can be traded and added to the exchange to be sold, doesnt make it "logical" to make them account unlocks.
There is a whole host of factors in relation to each ship type. There is even a section on the FCT thread about it, and I quote from that thread.
