Romulan arc overhaul?

A couple of weeks ago i listened to an interview / video with one of the teammembers where he announced the plans for scaling T6 ships. If i remember correctly, he was also talking about redoing the romulan arc to eliminate the unvoiced parts / voice them and give them new animations and the propability to combine it with an event. I just can't find the video anymore.

I mean the scaling T6 ships are around the corner, too bad the romulan arc is still read only for the most part. Just started a new romulan character and i simply hate it AF! I hate it so much that i am about to stop the playthrough in case the romulan arc overhaul is in sight. Does anyone remember the interview, has a link or know anything about a planned romulan arc overhaul?

    correct me if I am wrong but didn't they say in the Ten Forward stream they talked about the first time that it's less of "all missions at once" rewamp and more "missions get updated when they're ready" rewamp.

    Thx spiritborn, now i finaly found the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAwO5u1S56k They start talking about the romulan stuff at about minute 45. I decided to stop my new romulan playthrough and wait until they rollout the overhauled romulan arc and propably do the event they are talking about. There is still a T6 Scimitar i am missing...

    This is an ongoing thing. They have already updated some cut-scenes and they are live already. I very much doubt the storyline will change however.

    Speaking of the Romulan arc, Hakeev still has 2 different voices on Cutting the Cord. Last time they redid that arc, he was given new lines in a voice that doesn't sound like the existing VA work on the sdame mission

    It's time for the Romulans to have there own fleets and besides New Romulas should be built by now. They need to break away from depending on the Feds and KDF, since they have their own T6 ships.

    It's probably going to be a while man, depends on how long you want to wait to play a new Romulan. I'd imagine it wouldn't be rolled out till after Discovery is over and that still has some good months ahead

    It didn't sound to me like they plan on rolling it out over time. As far as i understood it they recorded all the lines by now and are working on the cinematics. Meanwhile they think about what to do during the roll out to celebrate the job is done and to get players to play the romulan arc again post roll out. An event was mentioned as an option. In anyway they for sure will post a news article about the overhauled romulan arc when they release it. They'd be more than dumb not to do it. So i'll wait...and wait...and wait...

    I'd be interested in playing a Romulan after this. I did start one a couple of days ago but didn't realise it was double XP and found myself at level 9 after just the opening few missions. So I deleted it as that's just daft (to me anyway). But if they're making changes to it, I'll wait until it's done and then have a look. :)

    I just hope that improvements aren't unskippable cutscenes and too many extra clicks of dialog in a row. I remember the second Fed mission was changed so the Klingon who warns you doesn't die and instead you have to go through 35 clicks of dialog before beaming to the surface, I hardly consider that an improvement more like an annoyance.

    I mean they probably will when it's coming up. Like I said earlier in this thread I don't see them putting it out while still doing Discovery content, and Discovery is running till at least July by the roadmap.. soooo maybe we'll see something about it coming around than.
