New UI- Personal Feedback Opinion and Maybe a bug?

Couldn't, find a post with this issue I encountered. Not sure, if its an actual bug or not. But, personally I love the new UI. I think a beautiful UI makes any game more appealing, specially with STO's age. So, thank you Devs for designing a new UI. My wife and I personally love it! On the other hand we have had some weird fps issue. When we start up the character creation it drops to under 10 fps. No idea, what's up with that.

    Character creation has had a serious fps drop for forever, or close to forever. Been mentioned, complained about and ranted over ad nauseum and might or might not ever get fixed. As character creation is pretty much the least done thing for any given player it's likely way down towards the bottom of the priority list for bug fixes.

    I haven't personally used the new UI yet, something that is about to change as i'm creating a new box opening toon today.
