The 12th Honor Guard provides a home in 12th Fleet for players who wish to concentrate their play in the KDF-allied races of STO, including Romulan players who choose to ally with the KDF. The subivision has its own KDF faction starbase and provides support for all 12th-fleet members, by allowing members with a declared interest in non-Federation play to develop knowledge and expertise that can be shared with the rest of the Fleet.
