2 second freeze normal?

Since the foundry is going to be sunset, I was checking my old mission to see if I can finally finish it in time, but every action (enter text, move object) freezes the editor for 2 seconds. Is this normal?

    Yes, the editor has always been a PoS. It has always made making a mission more frustrating and take longer than it otherwise would.

    Believe it or not, the current responsiveness of the editor is better than how it started out. Originally with a large custom map you were looking at wait times of 20-30 seconds after each action. Thinking back now, I can't believe I ever was willing to fight through that.
