T6 Andorian Ships

After many years and many battles I think it's time for me to move on from my Kumari-class and get one of the shiny new Andorian ships, any recommendations out of the three?

I have the science one which is flown by a tac. It's nice. I do like the pilot ships in general with their immunity maneuvers and staying on target. the tac one is probably better for a tac if one knows how to pure tac which i do not.

oh i just remembered why i got it - the science one has the uber-gravity well ship trait - which for me is the best trait in the game.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."

If you're only getting one and not the bundle then look at the seating and the traits.

The science one has a nice trait for Gravity Well that's worth having for any other Fed or Romulan captains flying science ships or carriers, and has Lt. Commander science so you can use Gravity Well I

The engineering one has a trait for use with Eject Warp Plasma and other damage or debuff engineering abilities though I mostly use engineering skills for healing and buffs so I'd never use it.

The tac one has a trait for damage buff using pilot and tac abilities, +4% every 4 seconds stacking to +20%, so eventually an extra 1/2 tac console.

I have several captains flying science ships and science carriers, so if I could only pick one it would be the science one (Chimesh). My second choice would be the tac one (Kuthar).

Perhaps you could wait for the next ship sale then get the bundle? Then you don't have to choose, and you can play with the console set.

Get the bundle the next time they offer a bundle sale. Picking it up for 4200 (30% sale) gives you so much more bang than 3000 for 1 ship, or even picking that one ship up on sale at 2100.

If you are just buying one, as others have said it depends on your flavor of build. Doesn't really matter what class your character is, as much as what your play style is. The ships are geared for a style of play over a class, so buy accordingly. But I would still say to spring for the bundle when its on sale. But that's how I buy all my ships when available in a bundle. But I can also farm 6k+ a month in Zen on my alts just from doing admiralty, so I am not spending real world money at this point.

Pretty much what they said. Wait for a sale and buy the pack. I find the science grav well trait a must have for any science captains.

The best one depends on your play style.

The Tactical one is the most popular because it has the best Trait. The only one I own though is the Kuthar (Engineering one) because while the Tactical has the best trait, I felt the Kuthar was the best ship. It has the bridge officer seating to run a full Aux2Bat build which is rare on an escort.. the only other Pilot that can do that is the Ajax and the Kuthar does it better. The Fleet Patrol Escort can also pull it off, but you only get 4 forward weapons and no Pilot Maneuvers. I bought one during a sale and gave it to an Engineer character and it's a pretty good ship.

Overall, it's up to you which one is best. The variant that's best for me or someone else.. might not be the best one for you.
