So tonight at 1230 AM the New Horizons probe will be flying by 2014 MU-69 or Ultima Thule is the Kuiper Belt. This is the furthest point any body in the solar system has been explored. I look forward to seeing the pictures of it. Forget a stupied ball drop. I will be watching the NASA live feed. That's my new years celebration.

    Well, the craft survived the flyby, and early pics have been received. The good stuff should start coming out in February, though.
